When a customer uses it online, the quote lands in my inbox as a lead - and the quoting is already done. My only job is a quick check that it's right at the survey. Quoting cold on a doorstep? I build it with the customer standing there and send it before I leave. A quote that used to take me 45 minutes now takes about 5 - and I've stopped quoting on weekends.

• The legal Right to Cancel notice. Here is the one most of us get wrong: quote in a customer's home and take the booking without a written 14-day cancellation notice, and they can cancel up to 12 months later and legally refuse to pay for work you have done. Missing the notice is a criminal offence. This pack appends the notice and the model cancellation form to every quote, automatically. You cannot forget it.
